About me

I am a physician with over 20 - years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive tract, liver, bile ducts and pancreas.
I have a specialization of II degree in internal medicine(consultant) since 1991 and specialization of II degree of gastroenterology (consultant) since 2002.

I have obtained a PhD title in 1989.

Gastroenterology is my passion, therefore all the time I follow the scientific literature, I participate in national and international conferences and conventions relating to gastroenterological problems, also as a lecturer.
Particulary I am interested in nonspecific inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease - Crohn's disease).

I have extensive experience in treating these diseases, including immunosuppressive therapy, and biological..In the center of my interests are also diseases of the pancreas and liver.

I have expert skills in performing ultrasound examinations of the abdominal cavity, thyroid, neck, breast, testes. I also perform the Doppler flow in the vessels of the abdomen and Fine needle aspiration biopsy of abdominal solid organs, and emptying the liquid contents of  pathological spaces under ultrasound control.

I also coduct endoscopy of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, Rectoscopy).
My activity is not limited to clinical work. I also lead lectures, seminars and exercises for students of fourth year (Polish and English), Faculty of Medicine.

I am a lecturer in the course of abdominal ultrasonography intended for primary care physicians and specialists, as well as a lecturer in German - Polish School of Osteopathy.
For many years, am also the coordinator and principal investigator of the global, prestigious research drugs (biologics are primarily used to treat non-specific inflammatory bowel diseases and drugs used in gastroesophageal reflux disease and irritable bowel syndrome).
I am a translator from English and German of many chapters in textbooks and monographs on the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, and imaging tests  used in gastroenterology.
I am the author of the chapter "Lipid disorders - nutritional therapy" in the book:

"Nutrition in diseases of the digestive and metabolic disorders," published in 2010.  published by Cornetis.
I speak fluently English, German, and Russian and Croatian in communicative way

Because language learning is also a passion of mine, now I'm learning Italian.
